HOW DOES IT WORK?

Writers who have been selected will be given the week prior to the competition to write a song based on a predetermined theme.

During the writing week, writers will have the opportunity to be featured on Punch-Up!’s social media pages. At the start of the event, writers will be selected at random to perform the song they’ve written. Once all songs have been performed, the audience will decide the winner by favor of applause.

The writer who achieves the loudest applause will be given the title of Punch-Up! Champ! and will receive a Punch-Up! medal, in addition to being offered a spot in the following Musical Theatre Fight Club.
